About Hot Glass Gallery & Mike Garner

The Hot Glass Gallery contains kiln formed glass art by Mike Garner. Garner grew up in Hot Springs National Park, Arkansas. He obtained an engineering degree from the University of Arkansas before moving to Southern California and getting an MS in Systems Management from the University of Southern California. After several years in Southern California Garner started working with stained glass and several years later he started learning everything he could related to working with hot glass. Garner took advantage of learning as much as he could from artists and glass manufacturers in the US and abroad while traveling then when he returned he tested the new techniques and tried new variations.
